Lawmakers need accurate and up-to-date data on the best practices for teaching our students with special needs when they are crafting policy. 

Shockingly, it has been 14 years since Arizona last commissioned a special education cost study, leaving policymakers with outdated information and our schools with ill-advised public policy.

This study is a valuable tool needed to show the actual cost required to meet all students' needs and advocate for additional funding as needed.
